Gosia Tomaszewska

Gosia Tomaszewska, Director of the Innovation Lab at Commonwealth, focuses on the design and testing of new, human-centered financial tools that spur savings, improve financial access and create wealth building opportunities for workers earning low and moderate incomes. Gosia and her team work closely with employers, fintechs and financial institutions, 529 entities and social impact organizations, among others. She is passionate about collaborating to change and improve systems. Previously, Gosia worked for state and municipal government agencies in financial empowerment and asset building. She scaled the City of Boston’s children’s savings program, Boston Saves, to include all of the Boston public schools. Gosia holds a graduate certificate in Politics and Public Policy from the University of Massachusetts, Boston, a Master’s degree in European Studies from Jagiellonian University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and History from Douglass College of Rutgers University.
