Jennifer Clarke

Jennifer is Head of User Experience and Design at Vanguard leading a design team that is organized around client journeys in a full-stack agile approach. She is also helping to build an enterprise design language using a human-centered design approach to meet the unique needs of multiple audiences within Vanguard. 

Jennifer joined Vanguard from Qurate where she was the global Head of UX Design and Customer Behavior for QVC, HSN and Zulily. Prior to that, Jennifer spent 17 years at AIG Direct which through mergers and acquisitions became Farmers Insurance. Jennifer has extensive experience building UX teams from the ground up as well as integrating newly acquired teams. Jennifer’s design career is rooted in Human-Centered design and Design Thinking with a direct line of site to the client. Jennifer holds an MBA from Wilmington University as well as an MS in Human Computer Interaction from Iowa State University. Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband and son at the beach. She recently discovered a passion for painting murals but is notably one of the messiest painters to ever live.
