John Thomas

John Thomas has more than 25 years of experience in various service industries including digital media, ecommerce, and financial services. As a seasoned GM, product and business development executive, his expertise lies in the areas of consumer technology and marketplaces, consumer and business payments, and scaled business transformation. John is responsible for Enterprise Innovation and Business Architecture at TD Bank. In this role, he leads a best-in-class center of excellence for innovation, creating a sustainable program to drive business transformation globally for TD. He also leads the bank's US personalization and insights strategies, and US customer retention. John joined TD Bank from Amazon, where he oversaw product, marketing, engineering, user design, business development and operations for a new business line. Prior to Amazon, John was the Global GM of the Digital Business Group at hibu. John also has over 20 years of banking experience in R&D, payments, cards, and commercial lending at numerous companies including MBNA and Bank of America.
