Senior Marketing Manager PBMares LLP

Julia Germeyer’s 18-year career spans professional services, consulting, and higher education. In early 2023, she left consulting to join Top 100 Virginia-based accounting firm PBMares. Her current role as Senior Marketing Manager focuses on client experience and content marketing strategy. Since coming on board, Julia has worked with other leaders and the Practice Growth team to implement phase one of PBMares’ CX Value Play, which is part of the firm’s strategic plan. She oversees the firm’s Net Promoter Score survey program and client journey map, and in 2024, created the firm’s first resource guide for clients. Prior experience in consulting included digital marketing and content development for Top 150 accounting firms and small businesses. She also spent four years as an Adjunct Instructor for the University of Pittsburgh’s Department of English, where she taught Written Professional Communication and Social Media for Business. While at Pitt, Julia completed a Faculty Seminar in Speaking in the Disciplines. Outside of work, Julia is President-Elect of the Professional Services Marketing Association (PSMA) of Western Pennsylvania’s Board of Directors, and she serves on the Virtual Education Committee of the Accounting Marketing Association (AAM). Julia is a three-time past speaker at AAM’s annual conference and currently co-leads a CX peer group within AAM. She also maintains an active membership with the American Marketing Association. Julia holds a current designation as a Digital Marketing Professional from the Digital Marketing Institute. She is an alumna of Point Park University (MBA, concentration in Management), where she received the Graduate Student Award for Academic Excellence, and the University of Pittsburgh (B.A., Communication: Rhetoric).
