Timothy Parris

Timothy L. Parris is a Vice President, Customer Inclusion Programming and Communications at Fidelity Investments. Fidelity Investments is a leading provider of investment management, retirement planning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, benefits outsourcing, and other financial products and services to institutions, financial intermediaries, and individuals. As a leader on Fidelity’s newly formed Customer Inclusion team, Tim has a deep passion for furthering diversity and inclusion initiatives across all communities, with a special interest in promoting financial education with diverse youth. In his current role, Tim is responsible for identifying and mobilizing Fidelity initiatives that create a more compelling and relevant customer experience for diverse segment plan participants. Tim brings scalable solutions to all aspects of his work, including his work with Aspire, Fidelity’s Latino and Black Employee Resource Group where he served as a professional development lead. Tim started his journey with Fidelity Investments in 2006 as a Senior Project Manager and has held multiple positions in his tenure. Prior to his current role, Tim has served as both a Program Manager and Product Owner across several business functions, including Fidelity Charitable Services, Technology, and Relationship Management. Prior to joining Fidelity, he worked as a business and technology consultant for a number of companies, including GlaxoSmithKline, ATT, Lucent, Aon Consulting, and others. Tim earned his Master of Business degree with a concentration on marketing & product management from North Carolina State University. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in operational management from West Virginia University. Tim also holds a Project Management Professional certification. Tim is based at Fidelity’s regional site in Durham, North Carolina.
